Prevtech®'s mission is to provide prevention education & training to an at-risk youth population. In doing so, these youth will vastly improve their general attitudes, school attendance & academic performance, appreciation skills, self-image, overall health & sense of well-being. They will also decrease episodes of substance abuse, negative acting out, self-defeating & self-destructive behaviors, and delinquent & contrary acts against society.

The pilot program activity involves specialized, advanced, intensive, group & individual therapeutic assignments (hereinafter referred to as the "Assignment") targeted at a representative traditional group home comprised of male & female youth, age range 12 -18 years old (hereinafter referred to as the "Kids"). The program is designed for expansion to target additional qualified populations of Kids as determined by future feasibility studies.

These companies shall provide state-of-the-art technologies, methods, programs, devices, equipment, training, appliances, accessories, incentives, etc. Prevtech® shall coordinate the system integration into a unique proprietary package that provides a platform for significant quality improvement in the lives of these at-risk youth.

The initial Assignment includes an integrated program utilizing a hybrid of pre-selected state-of-the-art fitness devices, protocols from an assortment of excellent manufacturers and providers, and enhanced with Prevtech's proprietary methods, procedures, and unique factors.

The project is scalable and can be easily adapted to a variety of settings, levels of care, geographic locations, and size of youth populations.

When the activity will be initiated:

Prevtech®'s concept began in 1997 with a preliminary pilot project designed to assess the receptivity for a similar modified Assignment with a group of juvenile delinquents confined to a Level 6 moderate risk commitment juvenile justice residential treatment center in Central Florida. The Assignment was code-named "Dr. J's MagicStars® Gang". The Assignment was highly successful and the results benefited the Kids immensely. The Assignment was favorably received by all related parties including the Kids, therapeutic & direct care staff, Florida Juvenile Justice Association, local presiding juvenile justice judges, parents and legal guardians. The Assignment enjoyed national exposure through the news print media when it was highlighted in a featured public interest story on youth gangs.
